Colin Murray

Colin is pursuing a PhD in Dance at Temple University in Philadelphia. His dissertation research focuses on legal sovereignty and masculine performance in French ballet of the early-nineteenth century. Prior to joining Temple, he practiced corporate law in San Francisco and Los Angeles, representing businesses as well as nonprofit organizations and their donors. He has also taught French at the secondary and undergraduate levels in Guadeloupe and New York. He holds a BA from Wesleyan University, an MA and an MPhil from New York University, and a JD from Cornell Law School. He dances regularly and performs occasionally.
